The legal framework for using KlangScout.
Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the KlangScout platform, accessible at klangscout.de and all associated subdomains (hereinafter referred to as "Platform").

These terms apply to all users of the platform, including music students ("Seekers") and music schools/private teachers ("Providers").
Service Description
KlangScout is a free information and placement platform for music lessons. The platform offers:
- A search function for music schools and private teachers
- AI-powered recommendations based on user preferences
- Profiles and information about music providers
- Contact options between seekers and providers
The actual lesson contract is concluded exclusively between the seeker and the respective provider. KlangScout is not a party to this relationship and does not charge any placement fees.
Registration & User Accounts
Using the search function is free and does not require registration.
Providers who wish to create a profile on the platform must register. Truthful and complete information must be provided during registration. The provider is obligated to keep their data up to date.
The operator reserves the right to reject or remove profiles without giving reasons, particularly in case of violations of these terms.
User Obligations
Users agree to:
- Use the platform only for its intended purpose
- Not provide false, misleading, or illegal information
- Respect the rights of other users and third parties
- Not send spam messages or unwanted advertising
- Not manipulate, overload, or abuse the platform
- Not perform automated access (bots, scrapers) without explicit permission
Limitation of Liability
Use of the platform is at your own risk. The operator is only liable for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct.
The operator does not guarantee:
- The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information provided by providers
- The quality of music lessons or the qualifications of providers
- Continuous availability of the platform
The operator assumes no responsibility for disputes between seekers and providers. Claims should be directed to the respective contractual partner.
Copyright & Content
All content on the platform, including texts, graphics, logos, icons, and software, is protected by copyright and is the property of the operator or the respective rights holders.
Reproduction, modification, or distribution of content without express written permission is prohibited.
Providers grant the operator the right to use and publish the content they provide (texts, images) within the platform.

Changes to Terms
The operator reserves the right to change these terms at any time with effect for the future. Changes will be published on the platform.
Registered users will be informed of significant changes by email. Continued use of the platform after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
Final Provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these terms is Berlin, provided the user is a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, or has no general place of jurisdiction in Germany.
If individual provisions of these terms are or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the economic purpose.
